I suggest that the users email’s are hidden to anonymous viewers to avoid spam bots from harvesting all the known emails off of openproject websites.
Maybe have an option under roles and permissions to hide visibility of user profiles?

Hello Tad,
you can activate an option to hide your email address via “my account”.
Click on your user name in the upper right corner and select “My account”
In the "Preferences section you can hide your email address:
When this option is activated your email address is not shown in your user profile anymore.
