Is there some way to show the Assignee and Responsible fields in the view of related work packages
Added by Robert Hardy about 10 years ago
As a way to keep track of the work packages that we are working on in the current sprint, we have created a Project called ‘Scrum’ which contains one new work package for each new sprint, and we make this work package ‘related’ to all work packages that we are going to work on.
In this way, if we want to see what is being/has been worked on in any sprint, we just go into the ‘Scrum’ project and into the required work package (e.g. ‘sprint1’, ‘sprint2’, …) and the list of related packages is the list we want to see.
However, the view of related packages does not show the ‘responsible’ nor ‘assigned’ fields, which would be useful to see.
Hence the question.
Many thanks to all!

Hello Robert,
thanks for your question.
The columns displayed in the work package relations cannot be customized.
But in OpenProject 4.0 you can use the work package split screen (in the work package list) and go to the “Relations” tab which contains a column with the “Assignee”:
However, for the scenario you describe it sounds a lot easier to use the Backlogs plugin, create versions of type “sprint 1”, “sprint 2” etc. and create or assign work packages directly to those versions:
(Also take a look at the features tour: https://openproject.org/features/agile-scrum/)
Best regards,
Robin
Alternatively - if you want to also see the assignee and responsible, you may simply use a work package filter (e.g. on version “sprint 1”) and customize the work package table to show “Assignee” and “Responsible”:
