[Solved] Open projejct send email only when workflow is created, but not when updated.

Hello, I installed open project as a project management system for our company and its great, but I have a small problem and I hope you can help me.

When I create a work package and assign people as watchers to it, they receive email, when the package is created, but when ever I update it nothing happens.

Hello Martin,

thanks for using OpenProject.
Updating work packages (and also copying projects) is handled by delayed job which needs to be activated separately.

To activate it (in production) use the following command:

RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec script/delayed_job start

is it possible to add this somehow add this to our normal start up on debian linux or to passenger?
