Greetings, How do I create a project progress report? Gantt timeline is nice, but it does not show progress on work packages. I see work packages summary, but it would be ideal to see %’s for a management progress report.

Hello Paul,
you could either use the Roadmap to see the overall progress or display % done in the work package list or a work package query.
The Roadmap displays the total progress of work packages assigned to a version:
In the work package list the progress of individual work packages can be shown:

Robin
How do I create a Roadmap?
Hello Paul,
the Roadmap is automatically shown as entry in the side navigation when two conditions are met:
Best,
Robin
I see that, thank you. Let’s say I have a project cloned with work packages. How do I assign everything at once to a new version?
I think the easiest way would probably be using the work package bulk update (however you may run into trouble if you try to assign more than 100 work packages at once):
To do this go to the work package list in the project in which you want to assign the work packages to a version, make sure that the filters are set in the way that those work packages which you want to assign are displayed (by default all open work packages are shown - if you want to also add all closed work packages you would have to change this filter setting).
Then select the work packages (e.g. by clicking on the check at table header), right-click on any marked work packages (not on a link) and select “Edit” from the dropdown menu.
In the new menu you can set “Target version” to the version you want to assign the work packages to and click “Submit”.
Got it. Many thanks, Robin!
