[Solved] Timeline, link between tasks

Added by Thibaut Comte over 10 years ago

Hi

Is there any possiblities to add connection between tasks that are linked and to see it in the timeline?
For example, if task B is supposed to start after task A is complete, link task A and B with an arrow, like in a Gantt chart

Thx for your answers

Hi Thibaut,

you can create an association between different work packages in the timeline by using a “proceeds” or “follows” relationship.
Updating the start / due date of the proceeding work package then impacts the following work packages.
However, there is currently no possibility to visually display dependencies directly in the timeline (e.g. by displaying arrows between work packages in the timeline).

Displaying work package dependencies in the timeline is however a feature that we plan to implement eventually.
The focus is currently on the work package page but you can have a look at the project timeline to see the current state of planning.

Best,
Robin
