Assign group of people in work packge on field 'Assigne'

Hi,

I would ask if it is possible to assign a group of people in field ‘Assigne’ in Work Package. Currently I’ve OpenProject version 3.0.2 and only let me assign one person…

Is possible this feature in last updates of this sofware? Somebody knows if will be implemented in future?

Hi Daniel,

you can assign work packages to groups but you have to activate this option.
In order to do this, go to the work package settings in the administration (Modules > Administration > Settings > Tab “Work package tracking”) and check the option “Allow assignments to groups”.

Now, if your groups are members in a project, you can assign them to a work package.
You can define who belongs to a group by creating a group (Modules > Administration > Groups > New group) and assigning existing users to that group.
