Subject: Are Custom Fields now an Enterprise-only feature?

I am currently running OpenProject Community Edition 17.0.2 on a test server. I attempted to add custom fields to both new and predefined work package types; however, I am unable to save the changes within the Form Configuration.

While my research turned up some relevant bug reports, I am unsure if this is a genuine bug or if the documentation and feature comparison list simply haven't been updated yet.

Interestingly, the feature started working immediately after I activated an Enterprise Trial token.

I encountered the same issue on version 17.0.1, and after updating to version 17.0.2, the problem persists.

Steps to reproduce:

I created a Custom Field.
I navigated to Work Packages -> Types.
In the Form Configuration, I moved the Custom Field to the 'Active' column.
I clicked 'Save'.

The Issue: Although no error message appears during the saving process, once I refresh the page, the configuration reverts to the default state, and the Custom Field is no longer in the Active column.

It seems the changes are not being committed to the database despite the UI appearing to process the save request.
