Unable to configure predecessors and successors for tasks

Added by Laurent Carré 6 days ago

Just created a project to test the tool. Creted 2 tasks and a milestone and wanted to link them. I go the relations and click on the add button and a windows is opening with a pull down field to add a predecessor. So far so good.

BUT, the pull down is empty. I was expecting to see the list of the task already created, but nothing. So no way to select another task.

I tried to find something in the documentation, but this seems not documented. I probably miss something in the task creation, but what...

Thanks for you help

Hello Laurent

Indeed, the dropdown menu is empty at first. You could potentially link all work packages you have access to there. However, once you are involved in several projects, the list of available work packages could include hundreds of entries.

Therefore, the dropdown should only be populated once you start typing a work package ID or subject. Example:
