Team Planner for OpenProject Community Edition

Added by Alexandra Hilbay Q. 4 months ago

Hello everyone.

Is it possible to configure a team planner feature in the Community version of OpenProject?

My need is to have a a preventive planning view of all company members connected to project activities.

Hi Alexandra,

the team planner is an Enterprise Add-on and not part of the Community version.
Maybe a well configured Gantt chart could help you getting and overview of the topics your colleagues are currently working on as well.
There is a guide named Use Case: Resource Management avaliable at the documentation wich includes a great example of such a Gantt chart. [1]

You could also set up a calendar and use filters in a way that it only displays relevant information for you. It is possible to save multiple calendars so you could even create one for each team member and their assigned work packages. [2]

Both options lack features such a as an easy to navigate swim lane view and drag & drop re-assigning though. If these are necessary, it might be a great reason to try the Enterprise version.

Best,

Alexander
