Hi Anton,

the cost report allows you to display the costs per user based on the logged time for this user and their hourly rate. Just navigate to the global cost report ( [ ⁝⁝⁝ ] - button next to the search bar) and select the time and costs. There, filter for the desired user account and select all possible activities (this rules out unit costs). Then choose the rows and columns you want to see in your reports, select cash value and click on apply.

Example:

This reports displays the sum of all costs (booked time * hourly rate) per user per project and an overall sum.

Hello Anton,

to set an hourly rate valid for all projects for a certain user, navigate to Administration -> Users and permissions -> Users. There, select a user and open the rate history tab of the user profile. You can add a default rate there. This rate will be applied for all projects as long as you do not define a different rate for a certain project in the list underneath.

Example:

This user has a default rate of 50 EUR for all projects. That is why 50 EUR is also mentioned in the projects listed underneath (projects of this user). If you add a different rate e.g. under "A new project" (see above), than the new rate will only be applied for this certain project. All other projects still apply the default hourly rate.

The current way to see how much an employee's work will cost, is to use the cost report filtered by the user of this certain employee.
For example, create a cost report and use the user filter to select a certain user, then, select the columns and rows you want to see in this report and opt for a cash value calculation ⤵️

You could use further filters like date(spent) to display only costs of this employee for a certain month.
The price of a working hour currently can only be determined by the hourly rate set for a user. So you can set different hourly rates per user per project but not derive an hourly rate based on the booked hours in total yet.
