Hi

Most likely not, hostgator is a web site provider with pre canned templates for standard internet operations such as stores and consultancy. while they may have some of the build blocks for OP, I doubt they cater for the exact version of Ruby, passenger, mysql or progresql, and the plugins let alone let you configure the apache files to allow OP to be served correctly.

Try amazon, they have a free small server offer and you can have a working internet connectable OP version in 3 hours and if you decide to keep it, it is about $3 a week.

cheers
Brendan
