Question: How to define a list or an array of a user defined custom field?
Added by Stefan Garschhammer 6 months ago
Hello,
I'm a new OpenProject user testing Community Edition and don't know my way around yet. So please bear with me if I have overlooked something to answer the following question:
As far as I have seen in the documentation, it is possible to define custom fields to be used in work packages. However, only individual fields are mentioned.
How can I implement a custom field with list or array character, e.g. a list of URLs pointing to wiki articles with relevant informations for a work package? I can probably use a long text field and maintain the url entries by myself but it would be easier to have a list where entries (in this case the link entries) can be added and removed separately.
This could also be used for a list of article numbers, tags and so on.
Is there a way to implement something like this in the current version of OpenProject or should I start my OpenProject career with a feature request? ;-)
Thank you very much!

Okay, maybe I have found a solution by myself.
I will start with the custom type 'list' for the beginning.
(Maybe this type has slipped my attention but we have upgraded our installation to 14.1.1 and now I have found it)
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Bad luck, it's only a combo, so my question is still valid.
