Added by Maurice Kunze 12 months ago

Hello,

after installing the latest OpenProject Update we are facing the issue that we cant edit the %-done entry in workpackages.
Does anyone have the same Problem?

Hi Maurice,

that has indeed changed with the 14.0 release. The % complete field ist not manually editable anymore. If you want to dive deeper into this topic, I recommend you these blog posts which explain the recent changes and the new mechanics behind progress reporting:

https://www.openproject.org/blog/changes-progress-work-estimates/
https://www.openproject.org/blog/openproject-14-0-release/

In short, % complete is calculated from entries in work and remaining work (or indirectly via status if you are using a status based progress approach).
Since this is a major change, your feedback on this is highly appreciated.

Best,

Alexander
