thank you for sharing your idea here. I just searched for a similar feature requests but did not found one where a active notification is asked for. Thus, I encourage you to create a new feature request for this. Please find a guide on how to do so here:
You will then automatically be notified every time the status of your request changes or someone comments etc (based on your personal notification settings).
