Backlogs plugin - Can user only update tasks they are assigned on Task Board?

Hello,
Getting some of the developers into using OpenProject now. I have created a Developers roles, a few User Stories, and assigned them tasks. On the task board, the users can move any task between the task statuses, even if they are not the assigned user. I would like to limit it so they can only drag their own tasks between the status columns, but I can’t find a setting that allows “Edit Own Tasks”. Is there such a setting?

Hello Matt,

there is no setting like ‘Edit Own Task’ but you can make this happen over the workflow.
Remove “all” allowed default status transitions for Role/Type combination and add the needed transitions within the
‘Additional transitions allowed when the user is the assignee’ part.
