CRM with OpenProject integration

Hi,

we are using OpenProject in our company and wish to use a CRM now.
I’ve looked for a CRM and there are really tons in the internet. Most of them SaaS.

Now my question to the community: does anybody have a suggestion for a CRM with OpenProject integration? If there is no one then a suggestion for a OpenSource CRM would be nice. Then we would look for a way to write a integration as plugin.

The following points are more or less important for our company:

  • OpenSource or free
  • integration with OpenProject possible
  • self-hosted (because of the strict german data privacy act)
  • not too big (we are a small company)
  • maybe based on Symfony or Rails

I’m interested in this also. I’ve been using the CRM from RedmineUp (https://www.redmineup.com), but I’m looking to migrate to OpenProject.

Considering your requirements for an OpenSource CRM with the potential for integration with OpenProject, I'd suggest taking a closer look at Odoo CRM.

Odoo CRM is a comprehensive open-source CRM solution that offers a wide range of features for managing customer relationships, sales pipelines, and marketing campaigns. It is self-hosted, which aligns with your requirement for data privacy compliance.

Additionally, We are using Redmineflux for our project management needs, which is why I am not sure if Odoo can be integrated with OpenProject.

I'd recommend checking out SuiteCRM. It's an open-source CRM solution, free to use, and allows self-hosting, aligning well with German data privacy regulations. While it doesn't have a direct OpenProject integration, it's flexible enough for plugin development.
