Academic Cloud -> Add existing members

Hi,

I can't add many people of my group, which are using the academic cloud, to the project in the open project of the academic cloud. I don't know, if this is a problem of academic cloud or the interface or open project though...

Hi Philipp,

I do not know the setup of the academic cloud and how user accounts get handled there, but my first thoughts on this are:

  • your peers have to be users of the same OpenProject installation so you as a project admin can add them to your project. If you also have administration rights, you can check this via Administration -> Users and permissions [1] If they are not yet listed there, you can just invite them at this menu.
  • They may not have activated their OpenProject account yet. Meaning that they not clicked the confirmation link they received with their signup. You also can check this and re-invite them via the administration panel (see [1]). Note that this depends on the authentication settings configured in your OpenProject installation. [2]
