Recalculate work packages start date with relations after change
Added by Antonio Cape over 1 year ago
Hi everyone.
I'm looking for a way to recalculate the start dates of tasks that follows another task when the latter is shorted.
Task1: ends on July, 31st.
Task2: follows Task1, starting on August, 1st.
Should I change the end date of Task 1 on July, 20th, Task2 start will remain on August, 1st.
This causes some troubles when the following linked tasks are more than 30, is there a way to make Open Project to "shrink" back Task2 to July, 21st?
Thank you for the attention, hope to hear soon from you.
Cheers!
Cape

Hi everyone,
I do have similar issue with my projects: is there a way to automatically recalculate the starting date of a task which follows another task when the last one is shorted?
Thanks in advance.
Best,

Hello, this feature could really help us. It is very difficult to modify the dates in the related tasks manually.
Thank you in advance.
