permission question ~ HELP ME

Added by josh hsu almost 2 years ago

Can the red box be read-only?
Only the blue box can be entered?
what's your idea?
Purpose:
The prearranged Gantt chart is set to read-only and cannot be further adjusted!

Hello Josh

if a user role has permission to edit work packages, project members with this role assigned are able to modify both the progress (manually or by status change) and the date. There is currently no read-only option for specific fields. This also applies for the Gantt chart view.

If you want to permit date adjustments (which includes the Gantt chart), setting up a user role without the permission to edit work packages would be your best option. Check out the user guide for more information on roles & permissions: -> User Guide

Best,

Alexander
