How do I set the status in Status Reporting?

Hi there

I just installed OpenProject and it looks great. I was hoping you could help me with something I can’t figure out.

When I try to create a Status Reporting for a project, the Project Status field only has one option “-”.

I tried creating some Reported project status in the Admin - Enumerations area and setting them to active, assuming they would appear as options for Project statuses. But I’m still only getting “-” as the only option when I try to do a status reporting.

Can you tell me how I can add other options to the Project Status field please? As just having “-” isn’t much use.

Hi Paul,

you need to configure the project types. Please go to

modules -> administration -> project types ->

There you need to activate the allowed project status.

Hi Niels

I need some advice on the same issue. Although I have activated project status, when selecting “New reporting” I am told the following:
“There are no projects to which a reporting association can be created.”
Where am I going wrong?
