Can Built in plugins be disabled?

Added by Andrew Hawkins almost 2 years ago

We dont make use of any of the money related features (costs, budgets, etc), most of the extra auth features, Nextcloud, etc. I tried my hand at unloading these plugins using some old forum and SO posts, and it ended poorly. Thankfully I had VM snapshots and was able to revert and this isnt a prod server, but trying to unload this plugins completly hosed the install.

It would be really nice to remove these plugins to remove the UI options for admins as well as the attack surface around the auth options.

Hi Andrew,

I am afraid that this is not possible at the moment. This would also require us to ship additional software packages. So I guess the only option is to disable the permissions for those roles/users.

Best

Niels
