Log time after work package enddate

My resources can log time with a date after the end date of the workpackage. What is the thinking here? For me that doesn't make sense, the work package needs to be updated when time is logged after the end.

Hello there, 

We have a feature request about "Disable logging time to locked (read-only) work packages" (#34177). 
I have left a vote for you. This feature is currently still on the wish list. Here is our roadmap.
