OpenProjectExcel not up to date?

Because of our problem with vanished tasks we had to restore our OP-DB to another instance. I Exported the project to an excel file and because a direct import to OP is not possible I'm urged to use the OpenProjectExcel which seems not to be up to date or maybe its my fault getting errors 422 trying to upload tasks into our productive OP-instance.
