Make some specific custom fields as a read-only custom field

  • I created one custom field whose name is the Total, so this Total custom field stores some calculated values. So I want make this total field as read-only field so that no one can change or modify these field values.
  • So my question is how to make my custom fields as read-only fields so that if anyone tries to edit these fields, at that time they see the read-only symbol, or Is there any inbuilt setting on the administrator side to make my custom fields as a read-only fields?
    or is it possible through my plugin? if yes then how.

There is a feature request about per-attribute permissions for work packages: https://community.openproject.org/projects/openproject/work_packages/27846/activity

I have left a vote for you. The feature is currently still on the wish list. Here is our roadmap.
