How to let OpenProject determines end date of a task based on contributor other activity

Hello,

I'm currently conducting a PoC in order to evaluate OpenProject as per my own team.

I can't find a way to let OpenProject determines itself end date of a task. I mean, a task has only one contributor, I specify the start date and the expected duration and I would loke OpenProject to tell which will be the end date taking in account already booked time of the contributor.

Can someone guide me how to do it ?

Hello Laurent, 

I am afraid that it is not possible to calculate the end date of a work package based on a start date and logged time. 

However, there is a similar feature request about calculating the end date based on the start date and estimated time: https://community.openproject.org/projects/openproject/work_packages/23318/activity

You do also have the possibility to create a feature request as described here: https://www.openproject.org/docs/development/submit-feature-idea/
