News - email notifications

Can the news items be pushed out via email notifications. How does a person know that news has been posted or you want a particular article to reach out to members.
I tried to look under permissions and make sure the email notifications were selected. Just wondering if that only applies to workpackages.

Hey Jean,

have you activated the “News added” checkbox in Administration -> Settings -> Email notifications?!
