Locking the processing of a created task depending on the selected task type

Added by Bastian Schick about 2 years ago

Hello all,

we want to use the possibility in OpenProject to lock the ticket for further editing in the description field and in the activities field depending on the selected task type (e.g. Closed). Furthermore, it should be possible to change the status back to e.g. in Progress, depending on the associated member group (e.g. Project Admin).

Does this work with OpenProject ? Is this only possible in the Premium version?

Thanks

Bastian

Hello Bastian,

It is possible to set a work package in read-only mode. To do so, please go to the Administration - Work packages - Status and click on a status (e.g. Closed). You can then activate "Work package read-only". This means no work package attributes can be changed except the status.
