Repetitive Tasks

Added by Alex Spencer about 11 years ago

Hi,

OpenProject looks like it has everything our team may need, apart from the ability to create “repetitive” tasks that occur on some sort of schedule. We have tasks that need doing everyday/week/month and we like to track who did them and any notes/actions that came off the back of the task. Allocation of these tasks is performed by either a pre-defined ordered list (customizable per task) or whoever has performed the “least” amount/time of BAU tasks over the last 90 days (it will not allocate to somebody marked as on annual leave).

Is there anyway I can use some custom fields/functionality inside the current version of OpenProject to get this effect? Is there a plug-in that I have glanced over and not realised it could do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated - otherwise I’ll have to learn RoR and chip in!

PS - love the look and feel of OpenProject - much nicer than project-open[

Thanks,
Alex.
