Work Package Relations - Duplicates

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have experience with the "Duplicates/Duplicated by" Work Package Relations?

I read the Help, and it says the following (Link: Work package relations and hierarchies (openproject.org) )

So it should mean, that the Status of one work package changes automatically when the Status of the other duplicated work package gets changed.

Am I correct in that interpretation?

I tried playing around with this concept but this work flow didn't really pan out for me.

I was wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences.
