I am trying out the demo. I have created a group name “test”.
In group “test”, I have added two users, “admin” and “user1”.
In addition, group “test” has role(developer,member) for the project “Demo Project”.
When I create a new work package for “Demo Project”, I do not see group “test” as a selectable option in the field assignee. I can only choose “admin” or “user1”.
How can I enable group “test” to be selectable in the field assignee?

you can add multiple users to a group and than use the group as assignee.

sorry my fold.
I forgot an important part. You have to enable the feature that allows you the assignment of goups.
Modules -> Administration -> Settings -> Work package tracking (tab) -> enable: Allow assignment to groups
