Hi Dennis,

since you’re using the stable rails 2 version of OpenProject you should see the project modules ‘Documents’ and ‘Repository’. ‘Document’ is an Object which you can create within an Project e.g. to create release notes. ‘Repository’ gives you the possibility to connect a source code management system like git or svn with OpenProject I think this is what you’re looking for isn’t it?

We are currently working on such a guide but since we are in the middle of a large migration (rails2 to rails3) the completion of this guide will take some more time.

are you planing to setup a email server or you’re wanna know how to configure OpenProject to use an existing email server?

I would like to use an existing mail server on another server. For that I updated configuration.yml. But the mails are silently not delivered. In the log I get the error:

The following error occured while sending email notification: “end of file reached”. Check your configuration in config/configuration.yml.
