Navigating in projects and subprojects just became that much more confusing!

Added by Daniel Hug over 2 years ago

Hi there,

OpenProject used to have the project search function at the top left of the window.  One of the cool functions was that you could type part of the name of a project and see the project tree that this project was part of. That made it really convenient to navigate in projects and subprojects.

Anicca! It all changed, and now the search function only returns projects that match the query, not any subprojects or parent projects. As a workaround, I can use the subproject widget on the overview page of a project to see the subprojects, which is possible even if it is much more clunky. But how can I get to the parent project?

This functionality change was really a downgrade from the function as it used to be, and I hope there is either a workaround or a rollback.

Daniel
