Updating wiki information from outside sources (automatically)

Added by Marie O Schmidt over 1 year ago

Morning,

first post, please be gentle.

Being the lazy person I am, I hate to update information in two place. Our wiki contains company information that is available in other places as well, and I wanted to update the wiki page with contents out of the external database, in this specific case, a phone list out of our on-premise Microsoft Active Directory.

So I created this little PHP script to fetch the user information from LDAP / AD and update the wiki page in the PostgreSQL database of OpenProject.

Maybe this helps others as much as it helps us.

rgds

Marie
