Estimated Costs from Estimated Times

Added by Flavio Barbarossa over 3 years ago

Hi All !

We're adopting OpenProject as Project management software in our company.  It appeared immediately clear and powerful to use, congratulations to the developers !

Only a feature isn't implemented as we expected:

When a Project Manager creates a new project and assignee to each task its estimated time and an assignee, it would be nice to have a function like "Time and costs" that works with the estimated times.

A function like that, it would be useful to do a quickly estimated cost (labor cost) and evaluate how much a new project would impact, in term of man-hour, on each person.

In the first phases of a project, the above information would be useful to a Project Manger for a right evaluation.

Thanks a lot for your support !

Sincerely,

Flavio

Ps: We know that there is the budget function, but it doesn't meet our needs !
