Hi there,
any chance to get a clickable link of UNC ressources like \\foo\bar\baz.something in the OpenProject's WYSIWYG editor instead of having to manually copy the resource from the editor and paste it p.ex. into Windows Explorer?
Thanks + Best
Tobias

Hi Tobias
please look into this work package

it might explain you the background of your question
Hi Adam, ah thanks a lot!
Hi Tobias,
we had the same requirements. As workaround ("ass backwards"), I had built a firefox addon, which handles hyperlinks / file links clicked in openproject instance, pointing to our fileservers. Corrupted filelinks had been repaired (the editor breaks filelinks or UNC path). I also experimented with special "hyperlink syntax". Once the addon finds the certain character string, it transforms and fires the filelink needed. But it is annoying if a given "filelink" has to be changed first time: Either openproject editor will damage it completely, or everyone using "special hyperlinks" has to remember the typical URL pattern. So we discontinued using it.
