Needs Ideas how to use OpenProject when used to work with ASANA.

Added by Beat Stieger about 3 years ago

Hi Community.

Openproject is currently being tested for various candidates. Potential users are used to work with ASANA. Specially the INBOX and MY TASKS sections and also the "Multi-Project" Linking of Tasks. They are now looking for the possibility

  • to reprioritise their tasks every day in the same way as with ASANA without having to change the due dates of the individual work packages (Not sure if this is the "get things done" principe")
Due to parallel project work, dependent blockers and longer time spans between start and end, the question was asked how one can now flexibly divide up one's daily activities using OpenProject.
  • In addition, there are various tasks that do not necessarily belong in a project (possibly covered by https://community.openproject.org/projects/openproject/work_packages/17517/activity?)..)...).)

How do you guys manage such tasks? Are there similar possibilities as in ASANA to organise one's day or does a rethink have to take place here?
