How to configure caching of .woff and .js files using Apache as front end

Does anyone have any documentation or instructions on how to configure caching of .woff and .js files using Apache as front end?  Lighthouse reports that on-prem packaged OpenProject 12 is slow due to non-cached woff and js files.
