As a member of the project I want to record mails and phone calls of customers, partners, suppliers to inform other project members of ongoing discussions and new information beeing available.
Up to now we use a special Wiki page to take records of communications. Drawback: Log chronology ist maintained by hand.
Maybe one could use meetings in the past to take records of communications, but it seems not to be the right tool for that.
One could use a forum to take records. Drawback: Chronology is defined by the time of posting not the event itself.
What is the best practice to take records in OpenProject?

Solution 4: Tasks
One could create a task for each discussion topic. The records could be made in the task notes. Time could be booked directly to the task. Drawback: If I want to inform myself of what was going on in the last few days, it is not so easy to gather this information.
