How to copy a board view?

I'd like to create for each user a board view with the filter "assigned to".

Once created I'd like to copy it, change the name and save it - for now I have to create for each user a new board view - is this "as designed"?

Hello Rainer, 

Have you tried the assignee board yet? This board gives you an overview of each user's assigned work packages. 
You can find an example for it here (below the status board example).

thanks Samanta,

but this is not what I'm looking for.

I need the STATUS board for each user with the same status columns. So every user got his own view and know what to do.

I've create one and set the filters. After that I'd like to copy it and change the filter settings just for the "assigned to"

I have to do this for all users and in each project - this is very time consuming.
