How to estimate project labor cost?

Added by Alexander Pravdin over 3 years ago

I'm new to OP. I've created a project and workpackages, I've set start and end dates, OP calculated time required, I've assigned all tasks to the admin account and set hourly rate. Now I want to estimate the labor costs of this project. I don't need to track budgets, I only need estimations. I can see the "Labor cost" field in workpackages but I can't edit it, it's always empty. I tried to read the https://www.openproject.org/docs/user-guide/time-and-costs/ document but it has nothing about labor cost estimations.

How can I get what I need?
