Start-Start / End-End Relationships and 0-Day Milestones

Added by Sebastian Siegert over 3 years ago

Hi everyone,

we're currently switching from MS Project to OpenProject and during the transfer I ran into some issues. In MS Project we're used to have different relationships between tasks such as Start-Start, End-End etc. (you know what I mean but anyway: Link). How can I realize that in OpenProject? Shall I use "blocked" for these situations?

Furthermore we ran into issues as milestones in OpenProject seem to have a length of one day. I'm used to have a milstone at the last day of task (say last day of a month) and the next task is starting the day after. So task 1 ends at January 31 with MS 1 on that same day and task 2 shall start on February 1. How can I realize that? In case I'm too stupid to read the manual, please just point me there and I'll try to help myself.

Cheers
Sebastian
