Fine-grain e-mail notification settings like in Wrike

Hi everyone,

because I hear several complaints about too many notifications in OpenProject, would it make sense to allow for a more fine-grain control of e-mail notifications like Wrike?

Hi Sven,

we fully agree that this is an area that needs to be improved. With  the OpenProject 11.4 release due in ~2 weeks, we believe it will be improved drastically already, even though it will not be as fine-grained as mentioned in your screenshot:

OpenProject will gain:

  • A notifications panel to control in-app, email, and digest notifications globally and on a per-project level

In the future, more options will be added to control the type of events, or resources. We're shipping with the above to gather some feedback on how much of the issue that already solves. Hope that helps!

will this feature https://community.openproject.org/projects/openproject/work_packages/27706/activity also be merged with the new update?
