Openproject web based backup restore capabilities

Are there any Openproject web based backup restore capabilities already available?

Basically want to backup and restore without logging/executing the commands from the server

Restoring through the UI is unfeasible, as it requires privileged permissions to replace the running server in order to terminate DB connections.

Please use our restore backups guide for instructions on how to restore a backup created through the console or UI.

Hi Carlos,

as I mentioned above, restoring is not possible from the web UI and not easily doable without some sort of privilege elevation or privileged service that can act on the web servers and database.

thanks, yes. We indeed have a spam problem despite using hcaptcha. We're looking into alternatives.
