Custom field for section "project"

Hi,
how can I use the custom field I created for projects? I created the custom field "project category" and defined some values for a list.
I categorize the project with this mandatory field.
To have an overview of all sub projects I like to filter for this field but I can not select it in the work package views - and idea how to get a grouped overview of all subproject?

Hi Rainer,
The option to filter for a custom field for projects is an Enterprise feature only. You can make your custom field visible as a column in “View all projects”. To do so go to “Administration” – “System settings” – “Projects”.

If you are using the Community Edition it is unfortunately not possible to filter for custom fields for projects.

Hi Samantha,
I couldn't find the option u referring to. We use the enterprise edition hosted by OpenProject.
BTW: The custom field is available in all projects (by default?), but it can not be selected as a filter.
The section "custom fields" below the project settings only list work package custom fields, not project related custom fields.
