Backlogs Plugin - Errors in Task Board when moving tasks to new status or changing descriptions

Hi

We use the the task board and are having issues when we change tasks in the task board. This can be moving the task to a new status or changing its description or remaining hours.

In 50% of the cases we get the following message that just says "Backlogs Plugin". When we click OK, the task still shows the indicator that the update isn't complete. But if we refresh the page, the task shows the new status...

Is there any way to find out what the actual error is? Or how we can get rid of it?

This is how the task looks when the error occurs and we press OK.

After a page refresh the little space invader disappears and the task has been updated.

Tried to move task at taskboard from in-progress to completed but encountering this issue. Does this have any thing to do with roles and permissions? Thanks!
