Access Control (RBAC/Individual) for Work Packages/Boards?

Hi all.

Is it possible to implement Access Control (Role Based and Individual based) for Work Packages as well as Boards?

This is a very common use-case where there are multiple teams/groups within a project that needed to be provided compartmentalised access.

If this is not possible natively, can it be implemented via some plugin?

Hello Arl,

OpenProject implements a fine grained access control on a project basis. If you need to restrict work packages to a specific set of members, use a (sub)project.

It is currently not possible to define visibility on a per work-package or attribute level. There are wish list features for this however.

Security groups are assigned permissions which either allow or deny access to a feature.  read and write access to repositories, work tracking, pipelines, and more. www.tellpopeyes.com Also  Permission management controls access to specific functional tasks at  Artifact or package feed security roles.
