Work package role permissions

Added by Seb F about 4 years ago

Hi,

I'm trying to create a confidential type project where users can add but not see other work packages. My idea of this was to restrict the work package role permissions to only add but not view work packages while, preferably, still being able to see their created work package. This did not work as without the "view work package" permissions the user can't add work packages either. Is there a way around this?

Kind regards,

Seb

Hello Seb,

There is already a feature request regarding private work packages. I have upvoted it for you.

As a workaround I would suggest the combination of a main project (access for everyone) and subprojects (for single users only). In this case the subproject would only contain one user who can create work packages and view only those. The admin could be added to the subprojects to view all the work packages.

Kind regards
Samantha
