Sub project is not deleted when head project is removed

Hello all
I have a problem. I deleted a head project wich had a sub project.
But now the sub project is still on workpackage settings etc.
I also cant delete say Task because it hangs under a project.
How can i delete that sub project because i cant see it anymore?

Hello,

this could be a permissions issue. Do you have sufficient permissions to see this project. respective all projects?

However, I'm not sure I 100% understand what you mean.
