how can i create a custom field for modul documents - need help

Hello,

can anybody help me? I tried it sometime but i could not find my created custom fiield for documents.

What i do:

1: Create custom field for documents

2: go to the documents sektion und upload an document - the custom field isn't shown

What do i wrong?

Hello Moritz, 
the custom field you created can be found in the Enumerations section of the administration by clicking on a document category: 

This is confusing, I know. 

As I'm not sure this really means added value, I created a feature request to remove this entirely to not confuse users: #36082. If you support this or disagree please feel free to leave a "+1" or a comment, respectively.

Thank you for the information.
I would have expected the selection field to be available in the Documents-> New Document area.

I do not understand the point of making a selection at the point you have described.
Because no matter what selection I make, it has no effect which I can see.

Ich hätte erwartet, dass das Auswahlfeld im Bereich Dokumente->Neues Dokument zur Verfügung steht.

Ich verstehe den Sinn nicht, an der von dir Beschriebenen Stelle eine Auswahl zu treffen. 
Weil auch, egal welche auswahl ich treffe, dies keine Auswirkung hat welche ich sehen kann.
