How to view only one subtask and its children
Added by Stellar Power almost 4 years ago
Hi,
I have just installed OpenProject and am only trying to fill in a simple project for now, with some work packages and their subtasks. The problem I have is that I have too many levels in the hierarchy, and many subtasks are not being displayed in the table view. I would like to be able to select a subtask, and view just that task, on its own, with all of its subtasks, in a separate view, so that I may concentrate on only one part of my project. However, I can't seem to find any way to do this, and with my subtasks not visible on my screen, it's making it imnpossible to consider using OpenProject for what I need to do.
Thanks very much

Try to add to a Type e.g. "User Story" an "add table of related work packages" , you will find it in the administration section
under "form configuration".
Hope this helps.
Hi Stellar Power,
apart from Rainer's good idea (find the instructions here) you could have a look at the relations tab.
In addition to that please have a look at this feature request, I think its implementation should be what you're looking for.
Kind regards
Matthias
Hi Stellar Power, please have a look at #34545 and #33163 to see whether they could help you as soon as they are implemented.
